About Me

I always knew my calling was to help others. I had no idea how that would take shape. I spent years working in Human Resources; interacting with different people and helping them to grow and flourish in their careers; had all been a part of my helping journey. In HR you interact with people on a personal level and hear their struggles with marriage, financial concerns, and parenting challenges. I spent most days talking to people about their personal concerns; which often followed them into the workplace. I realized as much as I enjoyed helping people find employment and improve their performance at work, I was not able to attend to the deeper, more intimate needs that we have to resolve to be truly fulfilled. I had no idea that HR would lead me to counseling. I made the shift towards therapy to personalize my help to others.

No matter what you’re going through, you deserve to feel calm, at peace, and happy with your life. With the right guidance, it is possible to balance all the moving parts and feel good. I want to be a support for you. Therapy should be a safe place that promotes healing. I believe that you are the expert in your life and my role is to collaborate with you an help you reach your goals. I want to help you realize your own strengths and open yourself to new ways of thinking. You are the author of the story of your life and you can rewrite it.  My goal is to empower you and help you develop confidence in your abilities to overcome any difficulties you are experiencing.

I help people who are ready to identify their true self, and liberate themselves from their past – to move toward a more simplified and satisfying approach to life, relationships, and challenges. I help people who are suffering from depression, anxiety, grief and loss, stress management, relationship problems, and phase-of-life issues. I see my role as a witness to a unique story. I act as a guide and support to assist you in expanding your sense of self by acknowledging that you are on a healing journey. I encourage physical, spiritual, and emotional health, as well as a strong focus on the empowerment of each person to promote healing and positive change. Let’s do this!
